Render ATX, led by Lillie and Doug Cameron, has dedicated itself to building non-toxic, high-performance homes, dubbed 'sanctuary spaces,' since its founding in 2007.

Based in Austin, Texas, the company has a strong presence on social media platforms like Instagram and YouTube, focusing on educational content about safe building practices for its chemically sensitive clientele.

The Camerons, who started as business partners and later married, have steered the company through tough economic times, including the 2008 financial crisis, by focusing on remodels and expanding into non-toxic children’s furniture. Their commitment to health and environmental safety in construction was reinforced after a personal tragedy involving a friend's miscarriage due to home toxins. Today, they continue to innovate in the 'green' building space, balancing their professional endeavors with their family life.

Our #ChaletChloe project just received third-party testing scores showing that it is the most energy efficient home in Austin. It also features a dehumidification system and air sealing details to have control over the building envelope and to prevent mold for our asthmatic client. Our clients care about what goes in their body. There are too many big builders and mass developments using shoddy practices and products, and ultimately homeowners pay the price.
